Arbors Community Development District
The Arbors Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on September 28, 2022 by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-642-E to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities described and authorized by Section 190.012, Florida Statutes.
The Arbors CDD is located entirely within the boundaries of the City of Jacksonville, Florida, and covers approximately 187.33 acres of land, more or less. The site is generally located north of Dunn Avenue, west of Lem Turner Road, and east of V.C. Johnson Road. The District is the best alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.

The Arbors Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on September 28, 2022 by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-642-to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities described and authorized by Section 190.012, Florida Statutes. Consent is hereby granted to exercise the power to plan , establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate and maintain additional systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses and security, including, but not limited to guardhouses, fences and gates, electronic intrusion detection systems, and patrol cards, all to be exercised only in compliance and consistent with all applicable laws including the city’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan and City’s land development regulations.
